(04/02/07) THE BRONX ? The Yankees kicked off their 105th season in the Bronx Monday with a 9-5 win over the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.

Jorge Posada and Alex Rodriquez each had home runs in the game, and Jason Giambi went 2 for 5 with 3 RBIs. Derek Jeter also chipped in with two RBIs on the day.
Reliever Luis Vizcaino (1-0) earned the victory for the Yankees with one inning of shutout relief. Brian Stokes (0-1) took the loss for the Devil Rays. Tampa?s starting pitcher, ex-Mets prospect Scott Kazmir, did not factor into the decision. The Yanks will take on the Rays again Wednesday following an off day.
