Nor'easter remnants cause messy BX commute

The Monday morning commute was frustrating for many Bronx residents who faced flooding left behind by a nor'easter.
The Bronx River Parkway was backed up for miles and the Mosholu Parkway was closed, causing traffic tie-ups. Other roads were similarly affected by the 7 inches of rainfall that hit the borough Sunday.
Straphangers also endured delays because standing water lingered on tracks. The MTA suspended 5 train service in Pelham Parkway. The train only ran on an express schedule between certain streets.
