JFK boys volley for match win over Walton

The John F. Kennedy Knights boys volleyball team sealed a big win over Walton High School Monday. The Knights were battling with Walton for first place in the Public School Athletic League (PSAL). Walton took control early on in the first game, securing as much as a four-point lead. However, JFK rallied back to win 25 to 16. JFK held on to that momentum in game two, with senior Jonathan Cruz notching a game-high 17 kills in the match. The Knights recorded a 25-15 win. The win brings the team their 62nd consecutive regular season league match victory. JFK has captured three championships in the last 10 years.
