Three Bronx teams round out PSAL baseball final four

James Monroe, Kennedy and Clinton took to the field Tuesday to secure spots in the Public School Athletic League's baseball semifinals.

Top-seed James Monroe battled eighth-seed Lincoln. The Monroe Eagles wasted little time. Carlos George cranked a hit into left field for an RBI single. The Eagles built on the lead, scoring 10 runs in one inning. The Eagles won 18-4.

Kennedy's Chris Vasquez went 2 for 3 with a double and four RBIs to lead the Knights to their 9-2 victory over Norman Thomas. Kennedy will face Monroe Friday, June 1.

Clinton beat Bayside 4-1 to advance. The team will play Tottenville Friday.
