Clinton baseball team tries to stay alive in PSAL semis
The Clinton baseball team tried to stay alive in the PSAL semifinals Sunday.
The Governors took on the Tottenville Pirates in the final game of their three-game series. Robert Eysel was unstoppable for the Pirates. He went 4 for 5 with a double, triple and four RBIs to help Tottenville gain a 10-1 lead in the fifth.
Clinton?s Edgardo Javier, Jonathon Duperoy and Jarib Jimenez gave it their all during the game. However, the Governors fell 10-3.
Tottenville will take on James Monroe, another Bronx team, for the city title on Friday.
