Bronx drivers hit the highways for holiday travel
Residents in the Bronx are hitting the highways to see the festivities for the Fourth of July weekend.
AAA says 41 million Americans will take to the roads this weekend. Bronx residents are no exception and will travel near and far despite high gasoline prices, says the agency. With gas still more than $3 a gallon and no relief in sight, some drivers say they will carpool to see the fireworks.
AAA advises that holiday travelers check their car?s oil and tires. The agency warns not to leave home without a full tank of gas, and above all, don?t drink and drive.
