Tenants: Bed bugs eating kids alive

Tenants at 2541 Aqueduct Avenue say their children are getting eaten alive by bed bugs each night.

The families living in the building say they have to cover their mattresses and keep clothing in bags to prevent the bug problem from spreading.

Calls to 311 and the landlord have not brought any results, according to residents. They say exterminators have been sent to the building, but the problem continues.

The building has 208 open violations posted on The Department of Housing Preservation and Development Web site, some of which refer to vermin infestation.
