A little Italian food and a little Italian music make for a great meal experience, say customers of de' Medici Restaurant in the Bronx.
Patrons say the Italian cuisine is not to be missed. Executive Chef Laura Vecchio says De Medici?s specializes in the food that mom and grandma used to make and serves signature dishes as well.
The restaurant has live entertainment every Wednesday night, which customers say can?t be beat, but they credit the overall atmosphere with making the restaurant a special place.
?It could be romantic. It could be family-like. Definitely welcoming,? customer Peter Mirone said.
The owner says the restaurant will introduce live opera Sunday evenings starting in September. De' Medici Restaurant is located on East 187th Street off Arthur Avenue.
