Fordham men eye elusive title on the hardwood
The Fordham University men's basketball team is charging into the season with hopes of winning a title.
The Rams are currently in training camp under Head Coach Derrick Whittenberg, who is in his fifth year at the helm. Five key players are returning this year.
Those players include senior captain Bryant Dunston, who has 1,000 career points and averages 14.5 points per game. Forward Chris Bethel is back on the hardwood with the Rams. He averaged 4.7 points a game. Senior guard Marcus Stout, who led the team in scoring, is also returning.
The players said it's now or never for a title.
"It's my last chance," Dunston said. "I'm gonna give it all I got."
The Rams went 18-12 last year, but were knocked out of the running in the quarterfinals.
