CHSFL playoffs kick off with all-Bronx battle

It will be an all-Bronx battle as Fordham Prep gets set to take on Cardinal Hayes in the first game of the Catholic High School Football League playoffs Saturday.

The Rams, top seed in the league, seek to take care of some unfinished business after losing to Holy Cross last year. Hayes is the eighth seed this year.

Fordham fullback and linebacker Brian Seminario says he?s confident his team?s defense will win it for them. He says it is the Ram?s defense that keeps them in the game most of the time.
