Bronx teen dead after Sunday night stabbing
Police say a 16-year-old boy is dead after being stabbed repeatedly Sunday night.
The police say they responded to a call about a teen being stabbed numerously just after 10 p.m. Sunday night. They say German Delgado was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital in critical condition. According to Delgado?s family, he died early Monday morning.
Delgado?s family says that he was a decent kid. They say he was depressed recently because he was put into foster care and was separated from his two sisters. The family says they don?t know why or why anyone would do this to Delgado.
Delgado?s cousin said that Delgado was a good kid who stayed out of trouble and didn?t cause problems.
According to the family, Delgado was stabbed at least six times: once in the neck, once under his heart and in his back.
A spokesperson for the Administration for Children?s Service says they are looking into the matter. Police say no arrests have been made. They say they are currently investigating.
