Bronx store closing after more than a quarter-century
After more than seven decades of serving the borough, Fox Menswear will close its doors forever in the coming weeks.
Fox Menswear was opened in 1927 by current owner Eddie Fox's grandfather. Fox says he's ready to call it quits after a lifetime of commitment to the store.
"I'm tired now," says Fox. "I've been doing this for 40 years, and it's time to enjoy my weekends and my holidays and my family."
Shoppers say they'll miss a store that has always offered good service.
"It's going to be a great loss here to the Bronx," says loyal customer John Machin. "There isn't another clothing store here with his quality."
