A daughter and her boyfriend are facing charges in the fatal stabbing of a woman in her Morrisania apartment, police said Tuesday.

Police arrested Krystal Allen, 22, and her boyfriend, Carlton Curry, in the death of Allen's mother. They are charged with second-degree murder. Police found Ernestine Allen, 47, stabbed in her apartment Monday after her son called 911.

The victim was pronounced dead at Lincoln Hospital.

According to neighbors, Allen was upset because she lost custody of her 2-year-old daughter, who was staying with the victim.
