Authorities are searching for two suspects who allegedly committed six robberies throughout the Bronx while impersonating police officers.

According to authorities, the suspects approach people flashing a silver shield, claiming to be police officers. Police say the suspects then rob their victims and take off, using a green minivan as their getaway vehicle.

Police describe one of the suspects as a Hispanic male, weighing about 180 pounds and standing at 5 feet 11 inches. The other suspect is a black male, 6 feet tall and weighing around 200 pounds.

Police urge residents to be aware of the two men pretending to be cops.
