?We?ve got a lot of stores and businesses going on - the crime is lower,? says Marivel Barreto, who lives in the area. ?It's really good.?
Residents say the Victorian-style homes, cultural diversity and affordable apartments make Bedford Park one of the borough?s most charming neighborhoods.
The neighborhood?s location, just minutes from Manhattan, is also a plus, residents say.
?You got the D and the 4 trains ? it's all here,? says Zulma Leonardo.
