The roof of the Golden Bronx Laundromat on East 174th Street collapsed Friday around 12:00 while five patrons were inside doing their laundry.
All five people inside made it out safely. The fire department arrived on the scene shortly after the collapse began. Firefighters worked to secure the building and the surrounding area.
Fire officials blame the weather for the collapse.
