A Bronx baby boy who was taken to Lincoln Hospital and later died had been abused for months, according to a Medical Examiner's Office report released Wednesday.
The report says the 8-month-old child died Tuesday from fatal child abuse syndrome and had injuries to his head and scalp.
The NYPD has launched an investigation into what happened in the boy's home off of West Farms Road.
