Police search for clues in Hunts Point hit-and-run
Police are searching for a truck driver they say killed a man in a Hunts Point hit-and-run Tuesday.
Police say the man, who was riding a bicycle, was hit and killed at about 6 a.m. at the intersection of Randall Avenue and Truxton Street. Police say they are reviewing surveillance video taken by cameras posted near the intersection.
Hunts Point residents say the intersection at Randall Avenue and Truxton Street is plagued by blind spots and that speeding is a major problem in the area.
