Rapper Fat Joe hosts City Island meeting to speak on direct marketing business Market America

South Bronx native and rap legend Fat Joe came back to his hometown Tuesday night.



Fat Joe was at Don Coqui on City Island to talk to Bronx residents about a direct marketing business he is working for that spreads entrepreneurship to African Americans and Latinos.



The rapper is the director of the Urban and Latino division of the company called Market America. He spoke to the Bronx residents about being their own boss.



Fat Joe is a business executive as well as a TV host. He now has a show on MTV called Off the Bat, which focuses on getting to know Major League Baseball players.
