(AP) - Police arrested a grandmother Sunday inconnection with the death of a 4-year-old Bronx boy who died ofblunt impact to his head.
Police were called to a South Bronx apartment on Saturday wherethey found 4-year-old Kevion Shand unconscious and unresponsive. Hewas pronounced dead at the scene.
Ellen Borakove, a spokeswoman for the medical examiner's office,said the cause of death was blunt impact to his head with brainhemorrhaging. The death was ruled a homicide.
Police later arrested the boy's grandmother, 45-year-old AngelaBarksdale, on a charge of assault.
