Major snowfall expected to hit the Bronx

Bronx residents are preparing for a major snowstorm the National Weather Service says could bring eight to 12 inches of snow.

Light snow is developing across the area Sunday afternoon with minor accumulations possible. The heavier snow is expected to arrive Sunday night into Monday morning.

Trucks on Zerega Avenue are gearing up for what could be a massive storm. The salt trucks are already being sent out in preparation for the anticipated snowfall.
