Officials say a 34-year-old man was thrown from his motorcycle and killed after hitting a car Saturday night.

Police say the accident happened at the intersection of West 225th and Exterior streets. Cops say they found the victim unresponsive with severe head trauma. A preliminary investigation revealed the motorcycle collided with a minivan traveling southbound on Exterior Street, police say.
