Abandoned for more than two years, residents near 2781 3rd Ave. say a nearby vacant plot of land is home to all types of rodents and rats.
Residents say rodents run wild through the streets. Iris Tirado says she?s seen rats that are, ?the size of cats.?
As garbage accumulates on the edge of the lot, weeds have grown over 6 feet tall. Resident Hector Garcia says, ?Right now there is a stolen car there that?s been there for about three months.?
No one knows who owns the plot of land, but residents are now demanding that the city does something about it.
