Officials say Sen. Pedro Espada?s latest financial statements show failure to disclose all campaign activity funds.

When reporters asked Espada to address the issue regarding campaign funds, he only agreed to answer questions pertaining to mayoral control. He, along with other senators, says there is a lack of parental involvement, the reason why they need funds to jump start a parent training institute.

After reporters confronted Espada about his failure to include campaign funds, he added, ?Your job is to write bad stories about Pedro Espada every day of the week.?

Meanwile, Espada is also partially blamed for the coup that started the gridlock in the Senate when he joined the Republicans in a bipartisan coalition. He then rejoined the Democrats while grabbing the title of majority leader.
