Webster Avenue residents decry empty lot

Webster Avenue residents say an empty lot in the area has become a community eyesore, hurting local businesses.
Felix Nyenti, the manager of Mike's Super Laundromat, says he has seen a 10 percent drop in sales this year because the litter from the weedy patch of land that ends up in his parking lot drives customers away.
According to neighbors, local merchants are not the only ones who suffer. They say homeowners have to pay fines whenever trash from the lot is blown onto their properties.
The fenced-off lot is private property, but it remains unclear who the owner is.
