Judge investigates Black Sunday trial juror

Juror Karen Krell admitted Thursday to contacting a witness during the Black Sunday trial, forcing a judge to decide if she swayed the rest of the jury to convict an apartment building manager.
The manager was convicted of failing to remove illegal walls that blocked firefighters' only escape route during the 2005 fatal fire. Two firefighters jumped to their death in an attempt to escape the flames.
The judge claims that Krell may have committed juror misconduct by sending a Facebook message to a surviving firefighter.
