An 8-year-old girl is listed in stable condition after a fall from the seventh-floor window of a housing authority building Wednesday night.

The incident occurred at 11:30 p.m. at 2140 Seward Ave. Witnesses say the girl attempted to get on her feet, but was told to stay still until the ambulance arrived. The girl is listed in stable condition at Jacobi Medical Center, according to the Associated Press.
