For students, gadgets are a way of life

An array of high-tech gadgets are available to help Bronx students usher in the new school year.
One is a combination alarm clock-MP3 player that helps students prep for the day while listening to their favorite song.
Students also say they plan to incorporate social-networking sites into their studies and many are choosing to do their work with a laptop, giving them the option to study anywhere they please.
"We used to have to go to the library [to] type up reports," says Nelson Santana, a supervisor at Best Buy.
