Downed lines cut power in part of The Bronx

? Officials say three power lines fell at around 9 a.m. Monday in Riverdale, leaving dozens without electricity.

Police blocked Johnson Avenue and say the power lines went down because the wood was deteriorated.

Fire and Hazmat crews arrived at the scene to deal with live wires in the street.

No injuries were reported, but neighbors say they have complained to the city for years about the deteriorating power lines.
