Sources: Police nab alleged Harding Park rapist

Police arrested a man Saturday accused of raping three women in Harding Park between August and October, community activists say.

According to the head of the Harding Park Homeowners' Association, investigators used DNA evidence to link the suspect to the attacks, the latest of which took place Oct. 18. Police have yet to confirm this information.

The suspect may have been able to get into the park through open gates, which local residents now want locked after dusk.

A town hall meeting is being held Tuesday night at 7 p.m. to discuss security measures that could prevent future attacks from happening.
