Recall issued for some Slim Fast products

Slim Fast issued a nationwide, voluntary recall for any of their ready-to-drink products Friday.

A spokesperson for Slim Fast says quality control tests performed at a facility in Tennessee revealed that a type of bacteria, Bacillus Cereus, was present in some batches. Only milkshake products bought individually or in packs are affected by the recall.

Symptoms to look out for in connection to the bacteria are diarrhea, vomiting and abdominal cramps. There are no reports of anyone getting sick after consuming the products.
