Glory of Christ Church defines Christmas spirit

Members of the Glory of Christ Church congregation are keeping the Christmas spirit alive even after their place of worship was defaced and burned.

A fire destroyed the church two weeks ago. Investigators also found hateful messages scrawled on the walls. Authorities are investigating the incident as arson and a hate crime.

During Christmas Mass congregants said a special thanks to the Fourth Presbyterian Church, which opened its doors to Glory of Christ members after the fire.

Congregants continued their tradition of giving out food and clothes, though they had to do so from members? homes. The soup kitchen they ran was damaged as well.
