Police question teen in deadly Bruckner crash

The Bronx District Attorney and the NYPD are continuing the investigation into the car crash that killed 12-year-old Kaitlin Booth Monday night.

Officials say they are trying to figure out who was driving the 2003 GMC Envoy when it crashed through a fence and turned over on the Bruckner Expressway. The young girl was thrown from the vehicle and later pronounced dead at Jacobi Medical Center.

On Tuesday, police questioned a 15-year-old boy in the case, but later released him. Investigators believe the SUV belonged to his mother, but say the boy denied being behind the wheel. His parents have now hired an attorney.
