BX rescue unit gets new training facility

? FDNY Rescue 3 in the Bronx is getting a new $20 million home.

The FDNY training facility on Washington Avenue will be home to one of five elite rescue companies. The 21,000-square-foot facility is equipped to train for specific intense rescue missions.

The unit says it will invite other Bronx fire houses to come and work with new equipment.
