With Memorial Day weekend being one of the busiest travel periods of the year, residents should expect heavy delays no matter where they're going.
Construction will continue on the Major Deegan, where one lane will be blocked in both directions. At night it is expected to close fully for a period of up to 15 minutes.
The Cross Bronx Expressway will have one lane of traffic blocked in both directions by the Alexander Hamilton Bridge throughout the weekend.
The rails will be undergoing a lot of track work over the weekend, which could also impact travelers.
