Bronx family pleads for stolen Yorkshire terriers

Members of a Bronx family are trying to locate their Yorkshire terriers, who have been missing since Sunday.

Anais Corpas says her family fears the dogs were taken so they can be resold. A Yorkshire terrier, such as Cooper's dogs Nena and Rugby, go for upward of $800.

"My biggest fear is that someone is trying to use them as a get-rich scheme, in hopes of trying to breed them," says Corpas, whose family lives on Middletown Road in Pelham Bay.
