Bronx Haitians pray for quake victims

Many Bronx residents are waiting for word from their families that were in Port-au-Prince at the time of the devastating earthquake Tuesday.

Many gathered during the Haitian Congregation of the Good Samaritan on East 129th street to pray for their loved ones.

"Since yesterday, my attempt to contact someone in Haiti is unsuccessful," Pastor Nathaniel Saint-Pierre said.

Saint-Pierre asks that those looking to help the victims donate through the Red Cross to make sure the donations make it to the people who need them.Anyone seeking information on Americans in Haiti can call the U.S. State Department at 1-888-407-4747.
