Survivors toast Miracle on the Hudson a year later
(AP) - Survivors of the "Miracle on the Hudson" landing have toasted their luck at the spot where the plane went down a year ago.
They took a ferry out on the Hudson River on Friday where the crippled jet created a scene of terror and heroism.
They raised their glasses at 3:31 p.m., the moment of impact.
About 48 passengers on the North Carolina-bound flight were joined on the water by the boat crews that rescued them.
Capt. Chesley Sullenberger says he and the other survivors have "so much to be grateful for."
All 155 people aboard survived the crash.
