Seventh-grader Adam Israfil collected $298.77 for Haiti earthquake relief simply by going door-to-door and asking for change.

The M.S. 101 student was prompted to help when other students at his school decided to collect money for Haiti. Together the students raised around $2,000 to donate to the Red Cross.
