Man charged with killing Bronx mom and kids

Police say a New York City man has been charged with three counts of murder in the stabbing deaths of a Bronx mother and her two young daughters.

Police say Jermaine Ruiz had been in custody since Friday when officers discovered the bodies in a Flatbush apartment.

Authorities say the body of Jessica Ibe, 22, and her two daughters, ages 2 and 5, were partially wrapped in plastic bags in the vestibule of the apartment.

Police say Ruiz spent a day in the apartment with the three corpses and then phoned his father and told him what he'd done.
