Family says grief compounded by funeral home

A Bronx family says a loved one's funeral service was marred after they found her body had been tampered with.

According to the family, jewelry on the body of Gladys Oliveras, who died of breast cancer at age 48, had been stolen at the Ortiz Funeral Home on Westchester Avenue. Also, the family claims Oliveras' pants were down when they looked inside her casket.

The family says the Ortiz Funeral Home has agreed to pay for Oliveras' entire viewing, though they deny the family's claims about Oliveras' pants.
