Snowstorm sets sights on the Bronx

A winter storm warning has been issued for all New York City boroughs, and a foot of snow is expected to fall Wednesday.

Bronx residents are preparing for the storm by stocking up on food and buying shovels at nearby stores.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg held a press conference Tuesday detailing a citywide preparation for the predicted snowstorm.

The Department of Education announced all NYC public schools will be closed Wednesday. All Catholic schools will also be closed.
