Sinkhole on Seymour Ave. keeps coming back

A sinkhole on Seymour Avenue has residents and drivers worried because it keeps reappearing.

The large hole, which some say could fit a car, has been repaired several times. Residents familiar with the area say the sinkhole has been a perpetual problem for the neighborhood.

The Department of Environmental Protection has inspected the hole many times. According to the DEP, the natural geography of Pelham Bay can cause sinkholes to appear.

The hole has been repaired three times within the last month. Drivers say it could reappear during the next snowstorm.
