Witnesses: Cyclist hit by SUV

A Bronx cyclist was seriously injured while riding on White Plains Road Sunday.

Witnesses say a blue SUV was heading south on White Plains Road when it turned suddenly, hit two parked cars and then slammed into a man on his bicycle. Residents say the cyclist ended up in the doorway of 3327 White Plains Road, seriously hurt.

Paramedics who responded to the scene performed CPR as they transported the cyclist to the hospital.

Juan Torres, who saw the crash, says he approached the driver to tell him he hit a person.
