Jewish residents prepare for Passover

Passover begins at sundown Monday evening and many Jewish Bronx residents are rushing to put the finishing touches on their holiday plans.

Passover is an eight-day celebration that commemorates the Jews exodus from slavery in Egypt.

They begin the holiday with a festive meal called a Seder, complete with traditional foods and desserts.

Preparing for Seder takes a lot of time and hard work.

?You start all over with whole new foods and cooking, shopping. It's a lot of work,? resident Michael Brown says.
