The Bronx is slow to return census forms

With just one month left to mail in their census forms, Bronx officials are worried about the turnout thus far.

The participation rate for the Bronx is up to 40 percent, which is below both state and national rates.

In part of Co-op City, the participation rate is 48 percent. In Hunts Point, it's around 37 percent, and in part of Wakefield only 26 percent of people mailed in their forms.

Mailing in your census form is critical in making sure the Bronx receives the right amount of federal funds for the next 10 years.
