West Farms cars wrecked by vandals

Some West Farms residents say their neighborhood has fallen victim to a vandalism spree.

Police say the side view mirrors, windshields and windows of dozens of cars on Commonwealth Avenue and other nearby streets were smashed and destroyed overnight.

According to Alexa Patrone, whose family had two cars wrecked, there were two men in their 20s kicking the cars and wielding a weapon.

Police say there have been at least six other cases of similar vandalism in the area recently. The investigation is ongoing.
