New study to shine light on Latino health issues
A new study is being held in the Bronx to gain a better understanding of the diseases that affect Latinos around the nation.
The study will include 4,000 Latinos from the Bronx and there are three other clinics around the nation also collecting data.
The study includes blood tests, chest, heart, lung and hearing tests and a sit-down session with a nutritionist.
Participants are chosen through the mail and anyone of Hispanic or Latino origin is eligible.
