Embattled Espada expected to speak out again

Senate Majority Leader Pedro Espada Jr. is expected to speak out again regarding allegations that he siphoned funds from a Bronx non-profit.

About a dozen investigators took away boxes of materials and Espada campaign posters from the Soundview Healthcare Network in the Bronx Wednesday.

"He is saying that because I employed my family that is siphoning of money from Soundview Health Center," Espada said. "I am very proud that as a father and grandfather I was able to assist my family in getting an opportunity to be employed."
