Census workers hit the streets to count people

The Census Bureau is taking action in an effort to get Bronx residents counted. Starting today, census takers will go door-to-door to visit the homes of those who have yet to fill out their forms.

Workers are even going out back if there is no answer at the front door.

So far, 62 percent of households in the Bronx have mailed in their census forms.
